Get ready for a star-spangled weekend packed with fun in the sun! We’ve got plenty of ways to stay cool and celebrate, starting with multiple pool parties throughout the weekend to keep the good vibes flowing. Don’t miss the special edition Karaoke on Friday at 7 pm—always a crowd favorite! DJ Dave will be hosting the always-entertaining Tacky Tourist Yard Games on the Sunning Yard, so bring your best (or worst) vacation look and get ready for some laughs. The Logan Brothers Band will take the stage at Lakeside Live on Saturday at 6 pm, and later that evening, the Tacky Tourist Costume Contest will kick off at 9 pm at Lakeside. On Sunday, enjoy a delicious Sunday Brunch at Lakeside Restaurant from 8 am to 2 pm, then wind down with Game Night at Old Cheeks hosted by DJ Dave. Don’t forget to stick around for the Dive-In Movie at the East Pool at 8:30 pm—let’s just say it’s about a certain caped hero who’s faster than a speeding bullet. It’s going to be a star-spangled weekend of sun, fun, and plenty of great memories at The Cove!

It's summer, and central Florida is known for its colorful array of tacky tourists! Embrace the spirit of fun and laughter this 4th of July weekend with our Tacky Tourist events.

Saturday, July 5th at 2:00 PM: Kick off the festivities with our Tacky Tourist Field Games on the Sunning Yard, featuring the energetic beats of DJ Dave. Come dressed in your most hilariously tacky tourist attire and get ready for a day of laughter, friendly competition, and lots of fun in the sun.

Saturday, July 5th at 9:00 PM: Don't miss our Tacky Tourist Costume Contest at the Lakeside Restaurant! Show off your best (or worst) tourist look and compete for fabulous prizes. It's the perfect opportunity to let your creativity shine and enjoy a lively evening with fellow resort guests.
