Fiber Optic Upgrade Completed at Cypress Cove

Earlier this year, Cypress Cove undertook a major infrastructure upgrade with the installation of new fiber optic cables across the resort. The project marked an important step toward improving internet reliability and speed for residents and guests.

Because the community was built decades ago, crews encountered some surprises along the way. Underground utilities were not always mapped, and in two instances, water mains were accidentally struck. These incidents caused temporary water service interruptions, but repairs were made quickly and service was restored.

Although there were a few occasional disruptions to cable and internet during the process, the upgrade was successfully completed. The result is a stronger, more reliable network that better supports the needs of our community today and into the future.
