Big Nude Boat 2022
The Big Nude Boat 2022 is leaving next week! Cypress Cove Nudist Resort is proud to serve as your pre- and post-cruise assistant. Tiki has been hard at work, but make sure you are up to date on all information needed to board the ship. If you have questions please reach out to Tiki. Join your friends at Cheeks to check out the Cincinnati Bengals and the Los Angeles Rams in Superbowl 56. Kickoff is at 6:00 pm. Chef Michael is serving some Cincinnati Chili and a Godmother Sandwich to represent the teams. Who are you rooting for?

Full Moon Gathering
Join us at the Full Moon Gathering happening on February 16 at 6 pm. The Full Moon Gathering is held on the shores of Lake Brown. This month's moon is a Full Snow Moon. The moon is expected to rise at 6:23 pm after the sun sets at 6:17 pm. In the 1760s, Captain Jonathan Carver, who had visited the Naudowessie (Dakota tribe) and others, wrote that the name used for this period was the Snow Moon, “because more snow commonly falls during this month than any other in the winter.”
Mardi Gras is BACK
After 2 years of not having a Mardi Gras celebration at the Cove, it’s time to gather once again. Join in the fun on Tuesday, March 1 for Fat Tuesday. We are planning an all-new outdoor event with fewer decorations and more fun, while keeping some of the favorite activities from past years. We’re talking about an all-day party on Fat Tuesday! We'll crown a new King and Queen, there will be a people's parade, pool and lake activities, and a “Beads and Masks” dance. There are only about 3 weeks until Fat Tuesday. We could use some volunteers to make this happen. Please contact Bill at MardiGrasAtTheCove@outlook.com. Watch next week's newsletter for more details.
International Women's Day Celebration - March 5
Join us as we celebrate International Women's Day on March 5. Women get free day passes, so grab your girlfriends and head over to Cypress Cove for a day of fun. Beachfront festivities include water slides, lawn volleyball, Urban Sketching, a show by the Cypress Cove Women's Chorus, and informational booths by Blind Creek Beach, South Florida Free Beaches, and The Naturist Society. This is a perfect event for first-time visitors, so if you know someone who's been wanting to give it a try, bring them out!

Spokane County Sheriff's Office seeking public's assistance in identifying nude jogger
Oh, he was just going for a jog in the nude! He's probably forgotten that he wasn't at the nudist resort anymore. Oops!
"Reports of the naked male jogger were not made until recently, but two witnesses indicated that they have seen him multiple times from last summer to December 2021. The Spokane County Sheriff's Sexual Assault Unit is asking for the public's assistance in identifying a man who has reportedly been running completely nude in the Minnehaha Park-Beacon Hill area. The work on the new boat docks is really coming along and is very interesting to watch.
The new siding on the office is almost done and is a beautiful update.
The artists Gilewicz/Watkins brought a wonderful hands-on art show to the Cove over the weekend.
Jerry was one of the contest winners and received this beautiful brass sculpture as a reward from the artist.
