DJ Xavier: Over 20 Years of Music, Laughter, and Friendship

We are deeply saddened to share the passing of our dear friend and longtime DJ, Xavier. For over 20 years, Xavier brought music, laughter, and unforgettable moments to the Cypress Cove community. From Frozen Underwear contests to Roulette Karaoke, he had a gift for bringing people together and making every gathering a good time.

Xavier built countless friendships here. His presence was a thread in the fabric of Cove life, and he will be dearly missed. Our hearts are with his wife Lisa, his son, and all who knew and loved him. May we remember him with the same joy he gave to us.

A Memorial Service for Xavier will be held on Sunday, August 31, 2025.

• 10:00am – 11:00am | Memorial service in the Sun Yard

• 11:00am – 2:00pm | Gathering at Lakeside for conversation, sharing stories, light hors d’oeuvres, and music

Xavier, a true purveyor of music, especially enjoyed Prince and the color purple. In his honor, we encourage all attendees to wear purple.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a trust being established for his son’s higher education. More details will be shared soon.

5th Annual Wigs for Kids Benefit at Cypress Cove

Join us for a heartwarming day of giving at the 5th Annual Wigs for Kids Benefit, hosted by Crossed Oaks Haven and proudly held right here at Cypress Cove! This special event supports Wigs for Kids, a nonprofit organization that provides free, custom-made wigs to children who have lost their hair due to medical conditions.

Nature Hair will be on-site to provide professional haircuts and styling for those generous enough to donate their locks. If you're interested in donating, please ensure your hair is at least 12 inches long.

Event Highlights:

• Silent Auction featuring 2-night resort stays

• Raffle Tickets: $5 each (Must be present to win)

• Cookie Sales: 4 for $5 | 13 for $20 | 30 for $40

• Preorders available for cookies & raffle tickets

• Donations accepted via Cash, Check, Cash App, PayPal, or Venmo.

All sales and bidding close at 3:30 PM, so be sure to get your contributions in early!

Have you ever wanted to experience the freedom of running in the buff? Now's your chance! Join us for the 12th annual clothing-optional run at Cypress Cove Nudist Resort. Whether you prefer to wear as little or as much as you like, come and enjoy a unique running or walking experience in a stunning natural setting.

Registration and Race Packet
Day fees are included with your race registration. All preregistered runners are guaranteed commemorative race gear, so sign up early to ensure you receive yours!

Friday, August 29th, 2025:

• 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM: Early check-in/registration
  (Avoid the Saturday morning rush!)

Saturday, August 30th, 2025:

• 7:00 AM - 8:00 AM: Check-in/late registration
• 8:15 AM: Race announcements and optional group photo
• 8:30 AM: Race start time (ALL traffic will be held at the gate.)
• 11:00 AM: Awards poolside (approximately 1 hour after the last racer finishes)

This large branch came down in a storm in this very tight spot and did not hit anything.

Live Music at Cheeks with Rachel on Wednesday Night. Interesting fact: Rachel's grandfather lived here, and her father currently lives here.

The deck at Lakeside is a great spot to relax and escape the summer sun.

Sandy is moving, after living at Cypress Cove for 61 years, so her neighbors and friends decided that she should have a cake to celebrate.

The first meeting of the Cypress Cove Camera Club was in January 1992. The model for that meeting was Bea.

Amy took Cypress Cove to the Gardner Lake Trailhead on the Beartooth Loop National Recreation Trail. 

The Gardner Lake Trailhead serves as an access point for the Beartooth Loop National Recreation Trail, a scenic alpine and sub-alpine trail located in the Shoshone National Forest along the Beartooth Highway in Wyoming.
