Frequently Asked
Questions

"May I come out just for the day?" Absolutely. While we do have excellent overnight accommodations, day visitors are always welcome. Daily membership fees are available on the membership page.

... "Do I need to be a member of Cypress Cove to visit?" No, but we are a membership organization. Non-Members must fill out a registration card upon their first visit. The registration card will also serve as an application for membership should you ever decide to join the club. Members of other nudist organizations, such as AANR, TNS, INF or FCN are welcome.

... "Are singles welcome?" For the most part, yes. However, in order to maintain a balance of the sexes, we do restrict single males to those with a formal nudist background. Qualifying experience would include visits to other AANR affiliated clubs. Nude beach experience alone would not qualify. A past or present nudist membership card would be the best evidence of nudist experience. A receipt from another nudist resort would be another. Members of AANR and TNS are always welcome. Newly single visitors returning to Cypress Cove are also welcome.

... "On my first visit, must I be completely nude right away?" No. You will be given a tour of the resort. If you decide to stay, then you can take a while to become comfortable. The Cypress Cove lakefront is considered clothing optional and an excellent place to begin your experience. Nudity is accepted and encouraged throughout the resort and is required in the pool and spa. Because people all around you are nude, quite relaxed, and enjoying their day, being nude is the norm and it's more comfortable.

... "What to pack?" A light travel bag containing a towel for each person (polite nudist etiquette means that you always carry your own towel to sit or lounge on), sun block, any athletic equipment and shoes you'll need, toiletries, and a cover-up for chilly days/nights or when you've had too much sun.

... "Are pets allowed?" Pets are only allowed in specified "pet rooms.". A $10 per night cleaning fee will apply. Pet rooms must be reserved prior to arrival. If one is not available, then you must leave your pets at home or at a nearby kennel. See pet room rules. Campers with pets must keep them confined to their site and take them directly to and from the dog walk areas. Always clean up after you pet.

... "Can we bring our children?" Of course! Cypress Cove is a family owned and operated business. It is also considered a family resort - complete with a large playground, game room and white sandy beach. Please refer to our activities page for events geared toward children.

... "My body is less than perfect. Will I feel out of place?" You will quickly discover that people really do come in all shapes and sizes and that, as far as our bodies are concerned, all of us have nothing to hide. The benefits of nude recreation are based on acceptance of self and respecting the individuality and freedom of others.
