Singles "Toga Party" Weekend Food Specials

Many Romans would eat reclining, propped up on one arm, and with the other hand, pick up bite size pieces of food.

In honoring this tradition, our kitchen will prepare an Assortment of Cheeses, Fresh Fruit,  Raw Vegetables, and Chunks of Cold Meats.

Hot Meats like Sausages, Meatballs, Bar-B-Q Chicken Wings, and Mediterranean Pizzas will also be offered.

Streak at Cheeks Weekend

One of the most popular nights here at the Cove is getting another special weekend all it’s own. It’s called Streak at Cheeks Weekend and it will be happening August 27-29. We will have a Friday night and Saturday night Streak at Cheeks. Friday and Saturday night will be with Cove favorite DJ Xavier as he rocks all the songs you want to hear.

With 2 great dances, a Pool Party on Saturday, and Super Mega Trivia 3000 to fill out the weekend, how can you go wrong?

Labor Day Weekend

Labor day, a time to celebrate the working man. You spend all week working to make ends meet. Then every once in a while it’s a good idea to take some time and make it your own with nothing to do but relax under the sun. What better way to relax under the sun then to spend the weekend right here at Cypress Cove? We’ve got a great weekend of activities to make your Labor Day fun.

Friday night we will be kicking off the weekend with a bang, featuring the Funtime Piano Bar with Keith Kobee. He’ll be playing your favorite sing-a-long piano songs all night long, starting at 5:30 pm in Scuttlebutts.

Saturday night enjoy a Labor Day Dance Party with Sequel, featuring members of That’s So 80’s, a great band that was here for Back to the 80’s weekend a few months back. They will be playing a full 4 hour dance set that will knock your socks off!

Sunday you can dance by the pool with the fun party sounds of Lenny. Don’t party too much because there will be a special Sunday Streak at Cheeks with DJ Xavier.

Then on Monday we have a special Music Monday with a Cypress Cove favorite, Rendezvous (Formerly 2 Smooth) singing all your favorites. So make plans now to attend our great Labor Day Weekend.

Back to the 60's Weekend

JIMI HENDRIX LIVES! And the only place to see him is at Cypress Cove.

One of the weekends that’s always been a huge hit is the Back to the 60’s Weekend. It’s time once again to celebrate every thing from the peace-loving 60’s. So, get your love beads on (and nothing else, there was a lot of nudity in the sixties) and make your way to the Cove.

The weekend kicks off with a 60’s themed Streak at Cheeks with DJ Xavier providing all the tunes to get you dancing sixties style.

Then Saturday night the Lakeside Restaurant will be transformed into a groovy hippie pad. So do your best flower child impression and groove to the sounds of The Hendrix Experience, the next artist in our Superstar Nights Concert Series.

The Hendrix Experience features look-alike “Tendure,” a prodigy musician who began on the guitar at age five, started classical piano at age seven and was good enough at age 16 to “astonish” Jimi Hendrix bassist Billy Cox with his axe talent. Tendure's amazing stage performance and energy makes this a must see show for any real Jimi fan.

So if you’re still stuck in the 60’s, this weekend is your time to come on out to the Cove.

Vita Nuda Cypress Streak 5K Fun Run Weekend

Vita Nuda will be co-sponsoring our second Cypress Streak 5k Fun Run on the weekend of Sep 17-19. Please join us Sep 18th in your running shoes and get ready to have some fun!

The weekend starts off with a Karaoke Party with Regis. Come down to Scuttlebutts and sing some tunes for everyone to enjoy (instead of doing it alone in the shower!).

The race will be September 18th, with an 8 am start time. Morning registration will be from 7-7:45 am. The pre-registration price is $20 with a cut off date of September 11th, after that the price is $25 and includes t-shirt either way. Monies to benefit Vita Nuda.

After the run Saturday we have a Streak at Cheeks with DJ Xavier that night to celebrate. It’s sure to be a blast.

News from Ted - Vita Nuda Cypress Streak 5K Fun Run, Nude-A-Palooza

We are happy to announce the return of the Vita Nuda Cypress Streak 5K Fun Run on Saturday, September 18th at 8:00 am.

The first run was so well received (we had over 70 participants, and many were first time nudists!) that we decided to make it a recurring event.

The event is sponsored and organized by Vita Nuda, a growing network of young adult nudists! We have the common goal of sharing what we love about nudism with all who are interested.

The race will be September 18th, with an 8 am start time. Morning registration will be from 7-7:45 am. The pre-registration price is $20 with a cut off date of September 11th, after that the price is $25 and includes t-shirt either way. Monies to benefit Vita Nuda.

Registration also includes gate fees for the day. Plus, registered runners are eligible to tent camp by the lake at Full Member rates of only $21 per night per tent. Or stay 2 nights in the Villas and we'll pay your registration fees (up to 2 adults). Either way it's a great value for a great cause!

We've got a few more details about Nude-A-Palooza III, our Charity Music Festival to benefit Rock Pink, taking place Saturday, October 23rd. It's a fun-filled, all day event with multiple bands, food & drinks, prizes, games and more. Tickets will go on sale September 1st and will be just $20 in advance or $25 day of show. Grounds fees are free for ticket holders, so you really can't go wrong.

We have finalized the line up of the bands on the outside stage: Frank Sinatra, Niel Diamond, No Doubt, Elton John, Eric Clapton, The Eagles and KISS. The Eagles played here for Open House and blew everyone away. They are definitely NOT to be missed. And KISS? The spectacle alone is worth the price of admission.

There's a little something for everyone. It should be a really fun show!

World Record Skinny Dip Update from AANR:

The preliminary count is in for the AANR World Record Skinny-Dip held July 10, a Guinness World Records event. As of this writing the count is 12,194 with 27 locations not yet reporting. The numbers show that we are on track to beat last year's final count of 13,648.

We're seeing big numbers from a variety of locations: Wreck Beach in British Columbia, 389; Turtle Lake Resort in Michigan, 425; Lake Como in Florida, 452; Laguna del Sol in California, 507; and Cypress Cove in Florida, 556 (yay!).

So far the location reporting the most simultaneous skinny-dippers is South Florida Free Beaches, who hosted the event at Haulover Beach, with a count of 748.

After dinner, head over to the pool area for a dip in the pool or a delightful hot tub. You can't do that at Outback!
Lakeside Restaurant food available Mon, Thu-Sat until 9 pm. Cheeks food available Sun-Thu until 9 pm, Fri-Sat until 10 pm. Offer available after 6 pm, same night only. Credit may be applied towards food only, not alcohol.
