Cypress Cove Video Filming
Sunday, April 27th
We have been working on a couple of videos for the Cove. One is a virtual tour of the resort for first time visitors and the other is testimonials. We have quite a bit of footage already, but there are a few holes. We need volunteers!
If you are available, we would like to set up a group shot in the pool around 4 pm on April 27th. After getting the group shot, we would like to conduct interviews with a few members at various locations around the pool.
We then need to stage a "dance" in the Lakeside Restaurant around 7 pm. We will provide a free beer or wine and a few snacks for those willing to participate. Remember, this will be online so you need to be comfortable with that.
The video will provide first time visitors with a consistent message letting them know what to expect and what will be expected of them. Your cooperation will be helpful and most appreciated!
Coupon Clippers Meeting
Thursday, May 1st
For several years we have been collecting, cutting and shipping coupons to military bases so families can cut expenses when shopping at base commissaries. Families have been able to stretch their income using these coupons. Right now we could use a few more "cutters". If anyone can spare two hours, we will be meeting on the first Thursday of each month from 1 pm to 3 pm. Bring scissors and meet us in the Terrace, by the Cove office.
If you have any questions, please call Carolyn Strack at 407-932-0268. THANK YOU.

ANRL's Work Continues
ANRL's information booth at the Cove's 50th Anniversary Weekend was a success with many people coming in and getting information about the Library and then touring the Library. The picture shows president Dave Graber and treasurer Roe Ostheim at the info table.
The American Nudist Research Library is celebrating its 35th Anniversary this year and the information booth was the first of our activities for this year. We are now displaying our new 35th Anniversary banner on the front of the Library.
ANRL's board meeting on April 18 included options to upgrade our scanning cameras, changes to our operating procedures, and organization changes of Library material on shelves of the Library. We are moving ahead with our scanning project and making improvements to our Database.
There is a lot of work to be done and we're moving ahead on many fronts. Come in and visit the Library and consider helping us.
Members on "No Mail" Can Still Vote!
The May issue of The Bulletin is mailing this week and will include candidate profiles and ballots for voting members. However, members who are on "No Mail" will not receive anything from the AANR office.
The good news is that those members are still eligible to vote. Simply ask the member to contact VR Election Services at 800/218-4026, Monday through Friday, 8:30-5:00 p.m. CT, or e-mail CustomerServiceatcustserv@vres.us. Members will need to provide their P number, located on their AANR membership card, to VR Election Services for a pin number that allows them to vote online.
Please call AANR at 800/TRY-NUDE if you have any questions or need additional information.
Vote - it's your right!

News from Ted
This weekend is our Motown Tribute. We will have Live Flute w/ Susan on Thursday, a Suicide Karaoke Party w/ DJ Xavier on Friday night, a Pool Party on Saturday w/ DJ Xavier, and a Motown Dance w/ Live Music by Magic on Saturday night. Unwind with Live Music by the Pool w/ Magic on Sunday.
We are also pleased to welcome the Clothing Optional Social Club this weekend from South Florida Free Beaches. Perry brings a group up every year around this time. It's a pretty large group and we are very excited to see them again.
We are in the middle of a transition to Digital Cable. Unfortunately, we had no choice in the matter and the transition hasn't gone particularly smoothly. However, it does seem to be getting better.
It was no problem for the hotel rooms. We just had to install the Digital Tuning Adapters on every TV. But it is going to be less than convenient for our RV guests.
Our free cable TV hookups will no longer work without a Digital Tuning Adapter (DTA). That means that every camper who wants cable TV will have to sign for a box at check in. We are responsible for the replacement cost of the boxes, so we have to charge a $50 per DTA deposit when they are signed out. The deposit will be deleted when the DTA is returned.
The real problem is that TVs are mounted into the wall on many motorhomes. That is going to be difficult to install for some of our RV guests. It's a one time per season inconvenience for long term campers, but it's going to be a real pain for campers who are just here for the weekend. You may want to bring some DVDs or other entertainment if you choose not to bother with the DTAs.
We have made significant process with the Online services offered by our hotel software. We are now finally able to email monthly statements to residents and members with charge accounts every month. If you are not receiving your statement, check first to make sure it's not going into your SPAM or JUNK folder. If you still can't find it, call and let Tiki know (407-933-5870). She can verify your email address or even mail you a paper copy of your statement.
Our Online Reservations and Members Portal are almost ready to go live. We currently accept online reservations through a third party service, but they are not booked "live" and we have to pay a commission on every reservation. The new Online Reservations system will be "live", meaning it's pulling directly from our list of available rooms and booking right into our hotel software, commission free.
Members & returning visitors will be prompted to "Log In" using their Member # or Email Address and a Password. I'll go over how to get your password when it's ready. Once logged in, it will pull in your contact info and rates based on your membership level. It's pretty slick.
First time visitors will be able to book online as well. In that case, the software will create a Membership Record for the new guest. Future reservations will be booked using the new login.
The Members Portal will allow members with charge accounts to log into their account to manage reservations, view & pay statements, review old newsletters, and alter their contact information.
AANR is looking for a new editor for the Bulletin. Any takers?
Remember this one? This is probably one of our most recognizable designs. Newest Retro T-Shirts are in to celebrate Cypress Cove's 50th Anniversary. Available now in the Office.

We've got our "Ask Me About Cypress Cove" T-shirts back in stock!
They are priced at just $5 each, so we are not making any money on the shirts. We are just hoping to spark some word of mouth marketing. Wear it to town, to the grocery store, just wear it while you are out and about.
So if you are a proud Cypress Cove member and want to help spread the word, please come pick up your new t-shirt today! - Thank you

Someone suggested that we create a page on our website going into a bit more detail on our various classes and activities. If you are responsible for one of the scheduled classes or activities, please email me a brief description. One sentence would be okay, more if needed, but just a summary for new visitors. I'm thinking of everything from bingo to exercises to petanque. Thank you in advance!
Regis handles activities, but I put together the weekly newsletter. I'm always looking for content. If you have anything that you would like to see in the newsletter, please email submissions to email@example.com.
We received some very nice new reviews on TripAdvisor. Thank you! If you would like to help spread the word, you can review us using the link below.
