Nudist Etiquette & Rules


Please relax and have fun. Our rules are for the safety and comfort of our guests. We hope you enjoy your visit and return often!

Alcohol: Always exercise moderation when consuming alcoholic beverages. NO GLASS ON THE POOL DECK. No outside food or drinks in the restaurant or pool bar, including their outdoor seating areas.

Behavior: We promote family oriented nudism, which should be WHOLESOME AND NON-SEXUAL. Sexually suggestive language, dancing or displays of affection are not appropriate.

Body Piercing: Studs, bars, and small hoops are permitted. All body jewelry should be SMALL and INCONSPICUOUS. Jewelry that attracts a lot of attention is not welcome.

Children: Parents are responsible for their CONDUCT and SAFETY AT ALL TIMES. Keep an eye on your small ones, particularly by the lake and pool area. ADULTS SHOULD NOT APPROACH OR PLAY WITH UNFAMILIAR CHILDREN. Minor children are not permitted in the bars after 10 pm.

Check-Out Time: Check-out time is 11 am. Late check-out may be available. Contact the front desk for details. After check-out, you are welcomed to spend the day in the resort at no additional charge.

Dress: We dress or undress for comfort at Cypress Cove. Nudity is always welcome and encouraged, including while dining and at the dances. When you do dress, regular street clothes and wraps are appropriate. NO LINGERIE.

Lounge Chairs: Remember, the chairs are intended for PEOPLE! Towels left to reserve UNOCCUPIED LOUNGES AND CHAIRS may be removed by staff.

Parking: Parking is available in front of the tennis courts, around the pool area, and in front of the maintenance shop. Please DISPLAY GATE PASS on dash.

Pets: Pets are only permitted in specified pet rooms (see pet room rules). Pets must be leashed and should be taken directly to and from dog walks. Always clean up after your pet. Pets are never permitted in the pool area or public buildings.

Photography: Most nudists are camera-shy. NEVER PHOTOGRAPH ANYONE WITHOUT PERMISSION. Check with the office for photography guidelines before taking your camera out. When finished, put your camera away promptly. Video photography is not permitted without staff supervision.

Pool Etiquette: NO SWIMSUITS or other cover are allowed in the POOLS or HOT TUBS. Please take a SOAP SHOWER before entering the pool or hot tub. No floats or rafts in the pools.

Quiet Hours: Be courteous to your sleeping neighbors. Keep quiet around the Villas and RV Park between 11:00 pm and 8:00 am.

Radios: Do not play your radio loud enough to disturb other guests. Personal radios with earphones are preferred.

Towels: Carry a towel with you at all times and ALWAYS SIT ON YOUR TOWEL for sanitary reasons.

Wildlife: Florida has a wide variety of plants and animals, some of which may be dangerous. Never ingest the berries or fruit of an unknown plant. Use caution feeding squirrels or other wild animals, they may bite. DO NOT FEED THE ALLIGATORS, it is illegal and dangerous.
