Nudist Etiquette & Rules


 


Relax and have fun. Our rules at Cypress Cove are based on common sense and courtesy. We hope you enjoy your visit and return often.

Alcohol: We have two lounges for your pleasure and convenience. Cheeks Bar & Grill at the pool side and the Lakeside Lounge on the lakefront. Wine, beer, and package goods may be purchased at our gift shop in the office. Food and drinks may be brought into the resort and around the pool, but not into the restaurant or pool bar. NO GLASS IN PUBLIC AREAS. Alcohol may not be purchased before 11 am on Sunday. Help us maintain a pleasant atmosphere by exercising discretion and moderation when consuming alcoholic beverages.

Body Piercing: Studs, bars, and small hoops are permitted. All body jewelry should be small and inconspicuous. Jewelry that attracts a lot of attention is not welcome.

Children: Parents are responsible for their CONDUCT and SAFETY AT ALL TIMES. Keep an eye on your small ones, particularly by the lake and pool area. ADULTS SHOULD NOT APPROACH OR PLAY WITH UNFAMILIAR CHILDREN. Minor children are not permitted in the bars after 10 pm.

Check-Out Time: Check-out time is 11 am. Late check-out may be available. Contact the front desk for details. After check-out, you are welcomed to spend the day in the resort at no additional charge.

Dress: We dress or undress for comfort at Cypress Cove. Since we are a nudist resort, we do expect those who use our recreational facilities to do so in the nude, when appropriate. The POOL IS A NUDE AREA. Nudity is welcome at all times, including while dining and at the dances. It is not appropriate to wear lingerie or underwear in the public areas or at the dances.

Lounge Chairs: Please remember, the chairs are intended for PEOPLE! Do not leave towels and personal belongings on UNOCCUPIED LOUNGES AND CHAIRS.

Parking: Additional parking is available in front of the tennis courts, around the pool area, and in front of the maintenance shop. Please DISPLAY GATE PASS on dash.

Pets: Pets are only permitted in specified pet rooms and which must be booked ahead (see pet room rules). Campers please keep your pets at your campsite. Pets are never permitted in the public areas.

Photography: Most nudists are camera-shy. NEVER PHOTOGRAPH ANYONE WITHOUT PERMISSION. Check with the office for photography guidelines before taking your camera out. When finished, put your camera away promptly. Video photography is not permitted without staff supervision.

Quiet Hours: Please be as quiet as possible between the hours of 11 pm and 8 am. Do not play your TV or radio loud enough to disturb your neighbors.

Radios: Please do not play your radio loud enough to disturb other guests. Personal radios with earphones are preferred.

Towels: Carry a towel with you at all times and ALWAYS SIT ON YOUR TOWEL for sanitary reasons.

Towels (Room): HELP US KEEP OUR RATES DOWN! Please do not use bath towels, washcloths and other linens for washing cars, polishing shoes, etc. Check your bags before departing to be sure these items have not inadvertently been included with personal items when packing.

Wildlife: Florida has a wide variety of plants and animals, some of which may be dangerous. Never ingest the berries or fruit of an unknown plant. Use caution feeding squirrels or other wild animals, they may bite. DO NOT FEED THE ALLIGATORS, it is illegal and dangerous.
