Fabulous Forties Weekend - Jan 4-6 Cypress Cove is ready to turn back the hands of time on January 5th with our Fabulous Forties Party. We'll have a great live band providing the soundtrack for you to swing dance the night away with your favorite girl or guy. It’s going to be a weekend of great fun & great music, so don’t let this one pass you by. Make reservations now so as not to be left out. Who loves plaid? I for one love it! It’s got so many colors living together as one. We could all learn a thing or two from plaid. So, how about having a dance that celebrates all things plaid. Well, that’s exactly what we’re going to do. It will take place January 12th at 8:00 pm at Lakeside Restaurant. Get decked out in any and all plaid that you own. If you want to be nude then you could even paint yourself plaid if you are so inclined. We just want as many people as possible in Lakeside wearing some form of plaid. We will have a DJ on hand to rock your plaid socks off. So come on down for a great night of dancing, fun and most of all, PLAID as far as the eye can see. See you there. Classic Country Weekend - Jan 18-20 It’s time to celebrate classic country music. If you like classic country music then this weekend is the one for you. It all starts off with a Classic Country Karaoke party with Regis. You can come down and sing all the country or any other kind of music you want with all your friends. Saturday we will have a new band playing at the Cove. They are called The Rebel Rousers and I’m sure you will love them. They will be playing all your classic country favorites. Make plans now if you’re an old cowhand from the Rio Grand, or just enjoy old time country! Cypress Cove Annual Charity Tennis Tournament - Jan 23-27 Tennis player, would be tennis player or just curious about tennis, come on out and participate or just be a spectator and support this worthwhile charity. The tournament will take place January 23-27. The Tournament is designed to accommodate all levels of players by having A, B, and C Divisions based upon your level of play. Prize money is spread evenly among each division. We will also have a complimentary welcome cocktail reception, a Tennis Buffet Banquet at Lakeside and an awards ceremony. Again this year, a CD of photographs of all players, officials, and most spectators will be produced and sold as part of the fund raiser for the Charity. You may order it at the event for $10. We are also looking for donations of additional prizes for raffle items. See Sue Terppe or Roe Ostheim. We look forward to seeing you here! Gasperilla Pirate Festival - Jan 25-27 Avast there ye landlubbers, it’s time to celebrate the pirate’s life right here at Cypress Cove. On January 25th the weekend will kick off with a special pirate themed Streak at Cheeks with Dj Xavier helping you shake your booty to the best music around. On Saturday we will have our second Pirate Treasure Hunt at 3 pm. We will give you all the clues you need to try and track down the treasure, hidden right here at Cypress Cove. What’s inside the chest, you will have to find out for yourselves. When the sun sets, the fun is just beginning with a Pirate Costume Party with DJ Xavier. Come dressed up (or with just an eye-patch) as your favorite pirate and maybe win a nice bottle of rum and free night stay here at Cypress Cove. So, set sail for a great weekend of pirate partying that ye won’t soon forget! Mardi Bra / Super Bowl Weekend - Feb 1-3 We have a big weekend of good times planned for you February 1-3 with Mardi Bra/ Super Bowl Weekend. It all starts with a special Friday night Streak at Cheeks with DJ Xavier. Saturday night Mardi Bra will take place at the Lakeside Restaurant. What is Mardi Bra you ask? Well, Mardi Bra is the most FUN you’ll have wearing a bra, let me explain. You take a bra, you decorate it like it was a float in a Mardi Gras parade, then you wear it down to Lakeside Restaurant on Feb 2nd at 8 pm and dance, dance, dance the night away with DJ Xavier. We will have a contest at 9:00 pm for the best mardi bra, and the winner will win dinner for 2 at Lakeside Restaurant. On Sunday February 3rd football season will culminate with the big game, the Super Bowl. Watch the game at Cheeks, take advantage of the food specials, and enjoy a great weekend here at the Cove. Then on Fat Tuesday, Feb 5th, we will have a Mardi Gras Parade. Come down get un-dressed up and let’s parade around like you should every Fat Tuesday, NAKED! Valentine's Weekend - Feb 8-10 Valentine’s Day will be here soon and we are gearing up for a great weekend of fun for you here at the Cove. The weekend starts out with a Karaoke Party with Regis. Come down to Lakeside Lounge and sing some romantic ballads to the one you love and also for everyone else to enjoy. Saturday will be the day for Cypress Cove’s Annual Valentines Day Ball, February 9th at the Lakeside Restaurant. Come for dinner and get ready to dance with the great sounds of The Dukes. With dinner, dancing and the Cove’s Valentine’s Day Ball this weekend will be the complete package so make your reservations soon. If you are busy February 9th, don’t worry we still have you covered. On February 14th Lakeside Restaurant will be having romantic dinner packages for you and the one you love. Only at Cypress Cove. It’s time once again to celebrate one of the fastest growing sports in America at Cypress Cove’s third annual NASCAR Weekend. The weekend will coincide with the Daytona 500 so you can enjoy the weekend and also enjoy the race. The fun starts Friday night with NASCAR trivia at Happy Hour and a special show by Bernie Preece called Bernie’s Bar Show. Starting Saturday afternoon we will have some games for everyone to enjoy. We will have a golf cart Road Rally inside the Cove, Golf Cart Drag Racing, and three golf cart games on the Lakeside Lawn which will be an obstacle course, a blindfold course, and a ring toss. When the sun goes down the fun really gets ramped up with a dance featuring live music by the classic country band, The Uptowners at the Lakeside Restaurant. Then Sunday get ready to party down at Cheeks Bar & Grill for a Daytona 500 party. Eat some food and watch the race. Make reservations now for a great weekend here at Cypress Cove. If you love NASCAR, then the only place to be is at the Cove, where you can watch the big race in the NUDE! Enjoy German dinner specials and live German music with Dieter Kolrush on Saturday, Feb 23rd in the Lakeside Restaurant. Variety Show Weekend - Mar 7-9 Due to the Restaurant refurbishing, we had to move the talent show to give the stars a little more time to rehearse and make sure the Lakeside Restaurant sound system was all set up and ready to go. Mark your calendars now with the new date of March 7th for a special evening of fun. The Cypress Cove Variety Show will feature many of your Cove friends and neighbors showing their various talents. There will be skits, musical numbers, dancing, and even a magic act. Come for a great evening of entertainment on Friday, Mar 7th, 8:00 PM, Lakeside Restaurant. Saturday will include a dance with DJ Xavier at the Lakeside Restaurant. Come down and enjoy a great night out. St. Patrick's Weekend - Mar 14-16 Plan now to attend our big St. Patrick’s Day celebration, the weekend of March 14-16! The good times start on Friday night with a Karaoke Party with Regis to get you in the partying mood. Come on down and sing some Irish ditties or any other song that comes to mind. Get there early because these nights fill up fast. On Saturday night, we are lucky enough to have Dj Glenn Mitchell. He will make his big return to the Lakeside Restaurant just in time for our huge St. Patrick’s Day dance. The Restaurant will be serving great Irish cuisine for you to enjoy during the show. You can eat, dance and enjoy a few drinks all at the same time. Get your green on and head on over to Cypress Cove for a great weekend you won’t soon forget! RC Yacht Club Regatta - Mar 16 The Cypress Cove Remote Control Yacht Club would like to invite each and every one of you to our 7th Annual Regatta on March 16th. The Regatta takes place every March and is one of the biggest events in the Cove’s busy social schedule. It starts early in the morning with the powerboat events, including balloon boat challenges and power boat racing on our grand prix race circuit. After a tasty lunch of hotdogs and hamburgers, the remote control sailing ships take to the water. There are a number of run off races and then the best of the best sail for the coveted prize of “Captain of the Year”. The Regatta is an all-day event with food and drink; a raffle with many great items, a 50-50 draw and an announcer to keep the large audience informed and entertained. To top off the day, awards and trophies are presented at the evening banquet. We have been sailing our graceful one meter solings on Brown Lake for 6 ½ years. Our solings are sloop rigged radio controlled yachts. There are no motors; they are driven only by wind power. The skipper can adjust the trim of the sails and the angle of the rudder. The rest is skill and luck. The club has grown to over 60 members with 33 solings, power boats and of course the very popular balloon boats. By the way, this is a family activity with both women and men captains. Easter weekend will be here soon and we are gearing up for a great weekend of fun for you here at the Cove on March 21-23. The weekend starts out with a a special Friday Streak at Cheeks with DJ Xavier. Come dance the night away with Xavier and you are guaranteed to have a great time. Saturday starts off with Easter Egg decorating for the youngsters at 2:00 pm in front of the clubhouse. Bring the kids by, and we will have the eggs and decorations for them to paint the prettiest eggs you’ve ever seen. Saturday will also be the day for the Easter dance with live music by Cypress Cove newcomer, The Rebel Rousers. They played here in January and were a huge hit! They play classic country, and let me tell you every song is a classic song you know and love. Sunday morning will be our yearly Easter egg hunt on the sunning yard with candy filled eggs for the kids to enjoy. Lakeside Restaurant will cap off the weekend with an Easter dinner to set your taste buds ablaze. Make plans now to attend a fun filled weekend that you won’t soon forget. Goodbye Snowbirds Weekend - Mar 28-30 It’s that time of year again when we must say goodbye to all our friends from up north as they make the long trip back home. To honor this occasion, we are planning a great weekend full of fun just for all of our fabulous snowbirds. We will be having our third annual goodbye snowbirds weekend March 28-30. On Friday night we will have a karaoke party with Regis. Come down to the Lakeside Lounge one last time before heading home and get on the mic and sing all the songs you love. On Saturday, we are throwing a special Goodbye Snowbirds Party so you can come down and say goodbye to all your friends until next year. Have dinner and dance the night away to the sounds of DJ Babe Plante, as he plays all of your old favorites. He might even sing a couple of songs himself. It’s great end to the winter season down here at Cypress Cove. We look forward to seeing you there! It’s been on hiatus for a year but it is back and it will be more fun than ever! It’s luau time again at the Cove, so get your grass skirt on (and nothing else) because we will be having a Luau Weekend April 4th-6th. The weekend starts out Friday the 4th with an authentic Luau Show and dinner at the Lakeside Restaurant. The South Pacific Review will be on hand to do an authentic Hawaiian show in the Lakeside Restaurant at 8 pm. The restaurant will also have a themed menu to go along with the show to make sure your taste buds get a bit of a vacation from the norm. Be sure to make dinner reservations early to guarantee yourself a seat for the show. The fun doesn’t end there! Come join us Saturday as we have a Luau Beach Party with DJ Xavier helping you shake your buns. There will be games, dancing (regular & hula), and fun for all. Bare Buns Biker Weekend - Apr 11-13 We had such an awesome bike weekend in October, we decided, this is too much fun to have just once a year! We are teaming up with the great Bare Buns Biker folks to bring you a biker weekend you won’t soon forget! The weekend kicks off with a special Friday night Biker Beach party with Dj Xavier. He will be playing all the biker tunes you could possibly want to hear. Then on Saturday we will be having a poker run, a block party with Dj Xavier, a nude biker parade, biker games & awards ceremony and a dance with live music by The Mud Roosters, a new band here at the Cove. We are sure you are going to love them. You can pre-register starting now, but make sure to do it by March 29th or you won’t get the free tee-shirt. Make reservations now to be a part of this great new weekend here at Cypress Cove. 44th Anniversary Weekend - Apr 18-20 Join Cypress Cove in celebrating our big 44th Anniversary Weekend, April 18-20. We are starting the celebration on Friday night at 8 pm with a Karaoke Party w/ Regis singing all the tunes you want to hear from yesterday and today. You can even come up on stage and sing yourself! Then on Saturday night we have some very special guests to perform for you. Charlie D. & The Things will be bringing their musical stylings to the Lakeside Restaurant for an 8 pm dance. Come enjoy the music, have some dinner, check out pictures from the archives and dance the night away. With all this great entertainment, it’s no wonder that Cypress Cove has been around for so long. Taking place April 25-27, we will be celebrating the great American art form, the Blues. Friday night will start the weekend off right with a huge Blues filled Karaoke Party with Regis. Come down and sing some Blues music or any other type of music you want. It’s fun even if you just want to watch! On Saturday, we are throwing a special Blues Party with a new band here at Cypress Cove, The Boogilizers. They will play a great mix of traditional down home blues and some fun danceable bluesy Rock and Roll for you to enjoy for the whole evening. This is one you don’t want to miss! We look forward to seeing you there! Cinco De Mayo is the theme again for this Singles Weekend. It’s a great time to come and meet other single nudists in a friendly and no pressure environment. We start the weekend off on May 2nd with the a special Cracker-barrel discussion at Lakeside Lounge that will coincide with an extra hour of Happy Hour and a Streak at Cheeks with DJ Xavier. He will be playing all the music you singles know and love. Saturday starts out with a bang. There will be a pool party with music and games for all of our singles to enjoy. At 4 pm we will have another special Cracker-barrel discussion at Lakeside Lounge that will coincide with an extra hour of Happy Hour. We will kick off the weekend with an 80’s themed Karaoke Party with Regis at 8pm in the Lakeside Lounge. It’s sure to be a blast from the past. On Saturday we have a pool party with DJ Xavier. The fun really gets rolling that night as we bring DJ Xavier back to do a special 80’s Streak at Cheeks. Hey dude, let’s party like it's 1985 at Cypress Cove. Elvis Viva Las Vegas Weekend - May 16-18 Do you like to play a nice game of Blackjack? Do you like Elvis Presley? Then this weekend is definitely for you. On May 16th we are having our annual Vegas Night. The weekend starts off with casino games in Lakeside Restaurant. There will be games like blackjack, poker, roulette, and more. Instead of money you win tickets that you use to win fabulous prizes, and have a lot of fun in the process. It’s like having a night in Vegas in your backyard, and you don’t have to get all dressed up to hit the tables, you don’t need money and don’t need to get on a plane. How can you go wrong? The entertainment for Saturday night will be a special Elvis Tribute Show with Keith Coleman. He will do two Elvis sets and two regular music sets so it will be a good mix for everyone! Make plans to attend this fun filled weekend at Cypress Cove. Memorial Day Weekend, Summer Kickoff & Co-Ed Triple Volleyball Tournament - May 23 - 26 Do you like competitive volleyball? Are you a young person looking for a great nudist club to go dancing at? If the answer is yes, it’s time once again to head to the Cove for a great weekend of Volleyball and the official start of summer here at the Cove on Memorial Day Weekend, which this year starts on May 23rd. The weekend starts out May 23rd with a fun karaoke party with Regis at 8pm in the Lakeside Lounge. Come down with all your friends and sing all your favorite tunes. It’s a great way to start off your Memorial Day weekend. On Saturday the day starts off with the volleyball tournament for all you volleyball lovers out there. And Saturday night we have some great classic rock in store for you with The Flashback Band. Sunday we will have a pool party at noon and a special Sunday Streak at Cheeks at 7:00 pm. So, if you’re young or just young at heart, come and check out our great Memorial Day Weekend right here at Cypress Cove. Family Fest Weekend - May 30-Jun 1 Family Fest is back and it’s bigger then ever. We are bringing back the Family Olympics! Here’s how it works: for every game, event or craft you and your family participates in, you receive a special token. You will receive additional tokens depending on where you place in the games. The more you participate the more tokens you receive. The family with the most tokens at the end of the weekend wins a free weekend stay! This weekend will be different and a lot of fun. The good times start on Friday. There will be games, crafts, a dance class and a sing-a-long. That night is fun for the whole family with a Dive-In Movie at 8 pm feat., “National Treasure Book of Secrets ”. The fun picks up the next day at noon when we have a ton of activities planned for an afternoon of good times for the entire family. Saturday night is a Streak at Cheeks so the parents can get out there and shake a tail feather with DJ Xavier at the turntables. It’s a night of singing and fun that is great for anyone who loves to have a good time. Saturday will have an afternoon Pirate Deck Party on the Lakeside Deck in conjunction with a new event to the weekend, The Cardboard Pirate Boat Race. We will give you some cardboard and duck tape and you have to make a boat that will stay afloat the longest. When the sun sets, the fun is just beginning with a Pirate Costume Party with DJ Xavier. Cypress Cove Days / Young Nudist Weekend - Jun 13-15 Cypress Cove wants to thank all of our members with the thirteenth Annual Cypress Cove Days, June 13-15. All Cove members will receive 1/2 price daily membership fees starting Friday at 4 pm. Members will also receive 40% off the normal lodging rates in the hotel and campground. The special rates are available for a 2 night min / 3 night max. Everyone gets Happy Hour prices all weekend starting Friday at 5 pm. Young nudists (18-35) will also enjoy special discounted rates and gate fees. They are invited to take advantage of Full Member Rates for the hotel or $5 daily admission, Friday thru Sunday. The Nude U / AANR Youth Ambassador program is being hosted by Cypress Cove this weekend as well, so there will be plenty of young adults around. We have a fun filled weekend for you too. Revenge of the Nerds Weekend - Jun 20-22 It’s time once again for the return of a popular night here at the Cove, The Revenge of the Nerds Weekend. It will be happening June 20-22 and it’s going to be a ton of fun. Friday night will be with Cove favorite DJ Xavier as he rocks all the songs you want to hear at a special Friday night Streak at Cheeks. Then on Saturday we have DJ Xavier returning for an afternoon pool party and in the evening with a Revenge of the Nerds Dance. Dress up like a nerd and win our costume contest at 9 pm. With 2 great dances, a Pool Party Saturday and Sunday, Hermit Crab Racing and Super Mega Trivia 3000 to fill out the weekend, how can you go wrong? We look forward to seeing you here. It all starts off Friday night with a good old fashioned Redneck Karaoke Party with Regis in the Lakeside Lounge. Saturday has a Redneck Pool Party with DJ Xavier playing all you country favorites, a Good Ol’ Boys Parade where you can decorate you golf cart, bike or just hillbilly yourself up for all to see, and the now legendary Hillbilly Games on Lakeside Lawn. Saturday night The Rebel Rousers will take the stage at Lakeside Restaurant for a big hoedown with all your friends. It all builds up to our redneck costume contest where you can win a free night stay in our beautiful villas. You might be a redneck… if you are at Cypress Cove’s Redneck Weekend! See y’all here! July 4th Tacky Tourist Weekend - Jul 4-6 U.S.of A. Where else can you celebrate our nation’s birth by sitting around the pool nude getting some sun? Well, you can do that in America and right here at Cypress Cove. The Cove has a great weekend of activities lined up for this huge weekend. It all starts off with a New Music Night with DJ Xavier. And don’t forget to bring your Florida-legal fireworks so we can all shoot them off and have our own private fireworks display on beautiful Lake Brown. Then on Saturday night it’s time to celebrate the freedom that America affords us by dressing up as a Tacky Tourist for the Cove’s Fourth Annual July 4th Tacky Tourist Deck Party. The music will be provided by The Boogilizers and the tackiest tourist of the night wins a prize. Sunday afternoon by the pool will also be rocking because Jerry Brown will be playing live music to all our sun worshipers. Beatlemania Weekend - Jul 11-13 One of the greatest bands ever is getting a special weekend all it’s own and that band is The Beatles. The weekend kicks off Friday night with a Beatles themed karaoke party with Regis. Come down and sing some Beatles tunes or any other music for that matter. We just want you down at the Lakeside Lounge having a great time with all your friends. Saturday at noon we’re having a Beatles pool party with Dj Xavier, and a dance at night with live music by Beatlebeat. This band will take you through every one of The Beatles different phases from their early mop top phase to psychedelic late sixties phase and everything in-between. If you love The Beatles, then Cypress Cove is the place to be July 11-13. Make plans now to attend what is soon to be a weekend as legendary as The Beatles themselves. |
